Regarding Lotteries and Games of Chance

In games of chance somebody wins, but no effective wealth is being created. This deception can harm the marriage often causing excessive expenses. A collective attitude is created, imbued with the erroneous belief that someone can escape their current situation by means of a stroke of luck, rather than gradual improvement using creativity, effort and work. This abandons the true source of authentic wealth through creativity and work, and causes a productive disinterest that results in harm to the marriage. Cosmically this type of practice is incorrect, not only for its evident injustice, but because it destructively generates an attitude of non-production while waiting for a change of fortune in which nothing is being produced.

Entertaining games calling for intelligence dexterity or even chance, when the only purpose is to entertain and provide a time of relaxation from daily affairs make sense! Unfortunately we are seeing in our society trends to have a profit at the expense of others which, by entering into this form of practice generates an attitude of non-production while waiting for a change of fortune in which nothing is being produced.

The basis of prosperity supposes a certain effort on our part, both in the area of mental creation and that of effective application of the principles in the material world. This leads to Personal Growth , but like everything in the nature, growth takes place through effort and the ability to adapt.

Nobody supposes that a marriages grows suddenly, without any effort and action by the people in the marriage. The marriage grows as a result of active efforts by the parties involved, the assimilation of the ideas and the adaptation to the natural environment in which the couple lives.

Many people claim that a stroke of luck can occur without any apparent cause, and believe they can trust in fortune to change their lives, however, there is much evidence that what is obtained without effort tends to slip away in time leaving one left with the emptiness of unfulfilled activities.
